At the beginning of the Business portion of the meeting
At this time I will call the Business meeting to order, those who are not members are
welcome to stay. But we are going to have a vote, and I ask non-members not to vote.
members have been given cards to vote with, any member that doesn't have a card, please
let it be known so that we can give you a card.
Item 10A is going to be up for a motion
I would like to put some guidance on the discussion, All comments will be directed toward
the Chair, we'll limit comments to 2 minutes, and alternate between for and against, any
one person please limit your comments to two times, after 5 rounds I will entertain a motion
to suspend discussion.
I will now entertain a motion to begin discussion on item
1st 2nd in favor, all opposed, (is this right?)---"do I hear a second?...when someone
seconds..."we have a second...all in favor say "aye" then they say "aye"...."all opposed
same sign"....then you go from there.....
Anybody for, Anybody against, 1 2 3 4 5
Chair will now entertain a motion to close the discussion and go on to the item on hand
1st 2nd in favor, all opposed, (is this right?)?)---"do I hear a second?...when someone

The chair would like to entertain a motion from the group to suspend discussion on item
10A until the executive committee can meet and determine how to apply Robert's Rules of
Order to club discussions.
